Ever wondered where the famous phrase "Bury the Hatchet" came from? This old style brass hatchet which is also a working pipe, is the answer. This tomahawk was often present during war talks. If the talks went well, the pipe would be smoked out and passed along as a symbol of peace. After which, its taken out and buried, thus the term, "Bury the hatchet". This exceptional piece is intricately made with its rich and traditional Native American design. Beads and feathers will vary. Certificate of Authenticity included.
