Navajo Kachinas are individually handcrafted and handpainted with a unique eye and artistic style thereby holding a beauty of their own. Unlike Hopi Kachinas, these versions are least expensive and equally fascinating. The Snake Dancer (Chusona) is considered as one of the most sacred Kachinas. She dances with a snake in its mouth and requests for Mother Earth to grant her wishes as soon as the dance completes.
