• Description

    The A'hote or Ho-o-te is known to be a good hunter and the grand Katsina Uncle of the mixed Katsina group. He is often painted in two colors, yellow (Sikyahote) and blue (Sakwahote). This yellow Ahote was carved in the 1970's by a Hopi carver. It is made with a fur ruff and feathers on his back and in his tab ears.
