This wonderful and traditional work of art is a Snow Maiden Dancer Sculpture carved by Hopi artist Lauren Honyouti. The Snow Maiden (Qotsa Mana or Nuvak'chin Mana) represents the snow and her presence is a sign of prayer for the coming cold weather. She is usually seen accompanying Hemis during the Home Dance (Niman) Ceremony.
